WORKSHOPS

Intensive Workshops are a perfect way to get closer to an art, or to focus on it.

They can be led on request in performing arts schools, associations or other suitable places.

It is possible to schedule basic workshops, open to everybody, or even customise their contents for specific educational projects.

Introduction to Mime

A funny and light way to get closer to the Art of Mime.
We learn basic notions about drawing the invisible and gestural storytelling, through exercises and games.

Moments of improvisation and creation are planned.

At the end of the Workshop, the original “Mime Party”: an actual party, with anything you think. But, it’s all invisible.
A great and funny way to fall in love with this art.

Duration: about 15 hours (on 3 days)

Mime with Real Objects

Mime Techniques applied to real objects such as balloons, suitcases, juggling or theatre props.

We will learn to give life to objects, to keep them in a specific point in the space, to make them being alive  to create theatrical special effects.

After learning the basic techniques, a part of the workshop will be dedicated to the creation pf personal or group sketches.

Gestural Theatre

 

 

Stage Presence, conscious use of the body, grammar of gestures and theatrical actions.

A study of the expressive possibilities of the body, which is our most powerful communication tool.

This work is suitable for any kind of performative contexts: circus, dance, theatre, theatre for children, singing, public speaking.

Theatre with Objects

Everyday objects come to life and become actors of a miniature show.

Object Theatre is a variety of Puppetry Art. It involves the use of props that come sfrom everyday life, from collective imaginary, rather than made for the show.

Theatre with Objects add to that a study on how scene props can be used taking advantage of their expressive possibilities. focusing on the reòlationship between the actor(the character) and the props.

It is useful for theatre, circus or dance.
