Performance loosely based on “Il Cavaliere Inesistente” by Italo Calvino, created on the occasion of the writer’s birth centenary with the support of the Nuovo Teatro dell’Aglio and Teatro dei Concordi of Campiglia Marittima (LI).

What happens when we get bored?
Is it better to play in total freedom or by following the rules?
Can a book really train the imagination?

Lia and Teo try hard to escape the boredom of an ordinary afternoon. Thanks to an adventure book they will discover they can play with the greatest power of all: imagination!

“Riding the Inexistent” is a performance of physical theater, storytelling and object theater. A tribute to Italo Calvino and one of his most imaginative works.

Target audience: 7 – 12 years old.
