MATTEO CIONINI – Biography<\/span><\/h1>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Born in 1981 in Piombino (LI).
In 2006 he took a degree in Disciplines of Arts, Music and Theatre at the
University of Bologna. <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2008 he receives a diploma from the Performing Arts
University Torino, perfecting his theatrical techniques from mime to theatrical
clown and learning pantomime, dance-theater, Improvisation, Stage combat,
acrobatics for theater, narration and theatrical direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perfects his studies with Patrizia Besantini and stages with Elena Serra (Marcel Marceau’s assistant) ,
Johnny Melville, Andr\u00e9 Casaca, Familie Floz.<\/span><\/p>\n


Since 2002 he works as a theatre and street performer, bringing his shows in
many theatres and festivals such as Edinburgh Fringe, Mim\u2019Off (Festival
International du Mime et du Geste), La Strada (Bremen), La Luna nel Pozzo
(Caorle), Yengibarian International Mime Festival (Armenia) and many others in
Italy, France, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Croatia, Mexico,
Armenia, Thailand, Japan, Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n


Presently he lives in Turin, where he works as a professional mime and actor and
as a Mime & Physical Theatre teacher at the Performing Arts University Torino
and the \u201cCentro di Formazione Teatrale Teatro delle Dieci\u201d. He also collaborates
with companies such as Sonics, Compagnia Bit, TouchClown.<\/span><\/p>\n
